Inanna is among the oldest deities whose names are recorded in ancient Sumer. She represents Love, Fertility, Sex, War, Power, and Money. Various religions and ideologies were created depending on the various attitudes towards these concepts. Her mythology influenced the Akkadians and Assyrians to identify her as the goddess Ishtar. The aforementioned concepts have been among the most important driving forces of mankind since ancient times. Plenty of other configurations of mentality have been formed since the beginning of history.

Like all the deities, her worship encompassed a ritual part that was performed with ritual sex. "Ishtar Gate" EP is a tribute to this mysterious and dark goddess; it is a description of her nature in the language of music, of the way, and the journey that leads to the rituals dedicated to her.
